It was Black until I bought some tapestry ribbon and "perked it up."

I have also graduated from the CP to the LOTH. It was easier to learn than I thought. Do get the current guide for the year 2008; the numbers of the pages helps tremendously.

If it is still too intimidating, perhaps starting off with the shorter version called Christian Prayer will help. The Office is made up Psalms, Readings and Prayers. On special days, the Readings and Prayers will change but the Psalms remain the same (unless tis Easter or other Great Feast.)

Once you are comfortable with the Christian Prayer, then you can move onto the 4 volume Liturgy of the Hours with more confidence. God bless you for the trying of it.PlainCatholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00795596623546394780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5301492273634984652.post-32017985608813582982008-04-12T09:00:00.000-04:002008-04-12T09:00:00.000-04:00I have been trying to pray the LOTH for about a ye...I have been trying to pray the LOTH for about a year now, on and off.
Do you have any advice as to how to learn how to "do it" correctly?
Thanks so much.
