Lectio Divina
Frequently I am asked about the prayer of Lectio Divina. Here are two websites who can explain this prayerful reading Scripture more eloquently than I can.
Introduction to Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina Resources

I think I would identify lectio divina as the single most important activity to deepen the spiritual life of most Christians. Thanks for the post.
The Carmelites also have a comprehensive lectio divina site: http://s2ew.ocarm.org/pls/ocarm/consultazione.mostra_pagina?rifi=guest&rifp=guest&id_pagina=208
