To All Things There is a Season

Our old cat is beginning to decline. Soon she will pass on as we all must do. For us our legacy is the children, the grandchildren and the great grandchildren. Life continues on. The happy noise of our family is a balm and a reassurance, quite unlike the chaotic sounds of a store or other place.

The heat is giving way just a bit. Tis only 91 today. Now if only we could get the rain. Our wee croft still bakes in the sun but tis less intense now. Hopefully soon the morning mists of autumn will appear once again in the valleys and glens of our mountains.

The last of the cukes are pickled and now there is a lull in the canning. In 6 weeks we begin canning the sauerkraut and the applesauce, the apple butter and the peach butter.

That's me away.

We just had a full week of rain after nearly nothing all summer, I pray that you recieve such a blessing.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it's very difficult to read your posts. All the words are really tiny, too small to see! I was able to copy and paste to the notebook so I could read your words. Maybe it's simply Blogger messing things up, or it's my computer; I hope it gets resolved soon!

God Bless!

Hopefully the problem is solved with the tiny print. Are they more legible now?

Not for me, maybe it's my computer...I'll need to get DH to look at this, I know just enough to email, blog and play the occasional game. :) Thanks for trying!

No, the print is small on my computer as well. I think you can adjust it in your settings somewhere.

I am a huge cat lover, so I about cried when I read about your kitty! My 16 year old cat passed away in March. I got her for my 10th birthday. I miss her. My mom misses her more. *sniff sniff*

Autumn is beginning to peak over here in Germany! Its exciting! It's been in the upper 50's at night and 80's during the day and I noticed it's starting to get lighter later out and the sun goes down earlier. Fall and winter are my favorit season! :)

God Bless You Sister!

For the small print: go to your browser's name in the top and pull down the menu. Go to preferences and there you will find categories marked "Appearance". If you go to "fonts" you can adjust the size of the print that appears to your specifications. I have been posting with "Normal" print according to the Blog tags so it may be that the blog's "normal" is small for everyone else.

Hopefully this helps.
