Living our faith in plain and humble service to Jesus, Our Lord and Savior ... ORA ET LABORA +++ Sentire cum Ecclesia (to think and to feel with the Church)
Rejoice in hope; endure in affliction; persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12
Prayer joined to sacrifice constitutes the most powerful force in human history.
St. John Paul II
I have a mustard seed; and I am not afraid to use it. (Habeo granum sinapis quod uti non timeo)
Pope Benedict XVI
But I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a direct war, a direct killing, direct murder by the mother herself."
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Palm Sunday
This picture of Christ is compelling: in His Holy Face we see Him contemplating the end of the week ahead as He knows how it will all end. Yet the faces around Him are laughing, joyous, oblivious to the coming pain and passion.
We gather together with blessed palms in hand to once again rejoice in our Savior. But that rejoicing also includes pain and sacrifice. Ours is not a health and wealth Faith: ours is a Faith based on prayer, work, sacrifice and discipleship that leads us into the same Passion as our Lord. Thursday begins the Holy Triduum, the 3 Days of Darkness and Light. The darkness of crucifixion, the Light of the Resurrection.
May God bless us all with renewed faith, and desire to do His Holy Will.
That's me away.
