Weary in Well-doing

Tis about that time of the season in which the weariness sets upon us from the doings of the season: baking, cleaning, shopping.....

Let us remember that tis the holy season of Advent and take our rest in reading and in prayer. We can always put up our feet for a rosary. We can break out a book of spiritual respite. Our loved ones will understand the less than perfect floor and prefer our love and attention.

Let us quietly pray the Angelus while waiting in line at the postie or store; or even at a stop-light. God honors the prayer in crowded places too. "We shall reap if we faint not".

May your Advent season be full of blessed moments.
That's me away.

I may be weary oft times but not from things of the season! My Christmas and thanksgivings are much the same as the rest of the year except for more reflection on the birth of our precious Lord and Savior.
Bless you dear sister for your loving comments about E.J. and Sylvia.

My husband and I really like stopping by your blog. We are Catholic and have been married for fifteen years. We have five kids. I never knew that there was such a thing as Plain Catholic. We have Amish and Mennonite communities nearby that we enjoy visiting.
