As the Cosmos Turns

The yellow Cosmos I planted two weeks ago has sprouted and is growing rapidly. By Easter it will have its first blooms beginning to open. The Cosmos is a tough, drought resistant little flower that happily blooms in the sun without needing any pampering or special care.

Thinking about this, I realize that as Christians, we should be gladly blooming and edifying the landscapes of our own lives without the need to be pampered. Would that we can all become as tough and as beautiful as the Cosmos plant.

Palm Sunday is upon us and the Holy Triduum will soon follow: joy and sorrow combined in perfect harmony to perfect the condition of the human race if we but only believe.
That's me away.

Thank you for your kind visit to Rhoto's Rag ;)
I miss your Gregorian chant--is it just my computer?
Blessings,

Hello my friend. That is a very cheerful little cosmos! We should indeed be as they are!
