Preparing for winter

The bees have started their winter syrup to sustain them in the cold months. We are to have a colder than usual winter this year according to the almanac and the fattening of the squirrels and chipmunks verify that. The animals too are growing coats much thicker than usual.

We pray for travelling mercies for Pope Francis as he traverses Cuba and the USA. Most certainly his job is difficult at best and draining at worst. May the Holy Spirit sustain him.

There is an issue causing division among religious groups since June. Even among the liberal factions and groups, there are those who support Biblical marriage and refuse to be bullied or manipulated by the homosexual lobbies. Our faith is based upon Biblical Truth and Tradition and cannot be changed.

May God bless your day and your night.

Blessings! I do pray for the pope although I am not Catholic, he has a difficult job and needs prayer! I for one am ready for winter and fall. Summer is miserable for me with my skin issues. I do wish we could move to a cooler climate! Instead I stay in as much as I can in the summer!

Matthew 5:16 So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
