Living our faith in plain and humble service to Jesus, Our Lord and Savior ... ORA ET LABORA +++ Sentire cum Ecclesia (to think and to feel with the Church)
Rejoice in hope; endure in affliction; persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12

St. John Paul II
I have a mustard seed; and I am not afraid to use it. (Habeo granum sinapis quod uti non timeo)
Pope Benedict XVI
But I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a direct war, a direct killing, direct murder by the mother herself."

A Time of Fullness and Harvest
"The Fullness of Time"; that phrase is a favorite of mine. It marks the completion of the waiting whether tis for the harvest of the garden or the expectant mother for the unborn baby. Both are lovely when they arrive and are blessings from God.
While we await the Fullness of Time for the return of Christ, we tend to our own gardens of the heart hoping that they will bring forth the worthy harvest for our Savior. In the weeding and the harvesting, we keep our earthly gardens and our heart gardens fully productive. Feeding our hearts with prayer and Scripture we hope to make fertile our souls for serving our Lord, just as we feed our gardens with nutrients for a more bountiful harvest.
May God bless our efforts today and always.
That's me away to the canning. And so it begins again....
