Dealing with Your Identity

Here is a good exercise for Lent:

When confronted with the sinfulness of a behavior that you consider part and parcel of your identity and modus operandi, how do you react?

Do you rationalize and ignore it, making excuses and changing the subject?

Or do you confront it with prayer and effort to change it?

Be honest with yourself as:

He who rejects admonition despises his own soul, but he who heeds reproof gains understanding. Proverbs 15:32

That's me away.

You are so very wise. This is a great reminder. Have a blessed Lent.

On another note, do you have a favorite place to buy your dresses? Or a favorite pattern? I am thinking of adding more dresses so that I can use them for work also. Thanks

Matthew 5:16 So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
