But I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a direct war, a direct killing, direct murder by the mother herself."

Happy Feast of St. Benedict to All the Benedictines
While praying the Liturgy of the Hours, we often use special prayers for a feastday. St. Benedict has two feastdays, the newer being July 11 but the older date that is still celebrated by some is today, March 21st. So with a sense of covering all of the bases we prayed the special prayers for St. Benedict today.
I wish to pay special respects and send my loving appreciation to the seminarians of St. Meinrad School of Theology who participated in the March for Life in Washington, DC this past January. You can see the slide show of their walk here

May God bless your vocations and service to Jesus and His Church ut in omnibus glorificetur Deus.
That's me away

I really enjoyed the slideshow. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for posting about St. Benedict’s day. The Benedictines are a source of much ancient spirituality. It's good to remember.
