Living our faith in plain and humble service to Jesus, Our Lord and Savior ... ORA ET LABORA +++ Sentire cum Ecclesia (to think and to feel with the Church)
Rejoice in hope; endure in affliction; persevere in prayer. Romans 12:12
Prayer joined to sacrifice constitutes the most powerful force in human history.
St. John Paul II
I have a mustard seed; and I am not afraid to use it. (Habeo granum sinapis quod uti non timeo)
Pope Benedict XVI
But I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a direct war, a direct killing, direct murder by the mother herself."
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Jesus Christ is Risen, Alleluia!
He is risen indeed, Alleluia! We have so very much to be hopeful for, grateful for, and needful for more! May God grant us perseverance!
Today the temperatures are in the 80s and it seems to be summer post-haste. Sneezes and wheezes signal the blooming of the trees and the gentle buzzing of the bees out and about have begun their gathering of the pollen. The intensity of Holy Triduum is finished but we hope to hold the heart of it all in our prayers continually.
With the blooming and the buzzing, work outside is pleasant and tiring. Tis good to feel the body stretch and strengthen in the physical labors of the farm.
Lunchtime is finished and now in the heat of the afternoon tis time to run some errands.
That's me away then.

I am so glad to be outside once again, digging and puttering about the yard, sitting in the swing, enjoy God's creation!
