The Feast of the Sacred Heart

God bless you all on this feast of the loving and merciful heart of Jesus. The weather is soggy and our time is taken up with the weeding that seems to sprout overnight with the favorable conditions of constant rain. The fruit trees were prolific this year and pints of peach and cherry jam now line the shelves sharing space with the pints of strawberry preserves. Next will be the blackberries and the blueberries to laden the larder.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in your love for me. Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like your heart. Amen

That's me away to continue the canning.

Beautiful nuns! I'm a new Catholic but was a Plain Quaker for about 25 years. I still cover my head always and dress very simply. I'd like to talk to like-minded Catholics. I've become a member/follower (at least I think that's what I did).

How do I post other than answering someone else's post?

Bless you in Christ, Francis Fischer

PS - I've never used blogs before - I haven't a clue what to do to interact with other plain Catholics. Help!

Francis, welcome to the Faith! There are two discussion groups that help Plain Catholics in their walk of faith which are mentioned at the Plain Catholic website

God bless you as you seek Jesus.
