Prayers for Cares

With the magnitude of weather and politics around the world tonight, tonight we lift up our prayers for those in the blizzards, our brothers and sisters in Australia, and for those caught in the violence of the Middle East, especially the children.

May God send His guardian angels.

There are parallels in these three (3) events...
May the people have courage to see them all to their end.

Praying with you.

Loving your short, to the point, blog. But don't like it that there is only one message in three or four weeks :).

Vera, you are sweet to want more in the way of posts. But we sisters in the Plain Catholic life try to control our time on technology so that it does not consume our time and take us away from our families. As St. Augustine tells us: complete abstinence is easier than perfect moderation.

Thank you for praying for us Aussies, we have certainly had a drenching lately :-)
We uphold our sisters and brethren in the chilly northern hemisphere too.
peace and joy in Christ..

Thank you for your prayers. I live in Western Australia, and we have just had a big storm go through our area; lots of damage and live wires down very bad. In fact I have lived in this area for 20 years now and never seen it this bad. We were without power for just over 28 hours. Normally that would be fine but we also had temperatures in the high 90's and even over 100* so without A/C that was hard. However praise God we got through without our son having an epileptic fit! I do believe it was all ok because people like you where praying for us!! So thank you so much for being faithful and praying for people you don’t even know!!!
