What is your focus?

When you are at a social event or out and about, what do you focus upon with other people?

The entertainments?
What people are wearing?
The conversations?
Seeing God in others?
Whether someone is needing to have a listening ear?
Assisting the host or hostess?

When out and about and distracted, much of one's personal current spiritual level and growth is revealed when one is caught off guard.

It is easy to fall back into old judgmental habits about others such as being the fashion police or gossiping about others. This Lent, please consider conquering the habit of policing the clothing fashions and gossiping. Getting into better habits of holy attitudes is always a worthwhile effort.

Or this

Not this.

Matthew 5:16 So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
